Acid, Dope & Flux Brushes

We offer acid brushes as well as dope and flux brushes in several varieties. Our acid brushes include standard acid brushes available in white bristle, horsehair or nylon, aluminum handle acid brushes and pipe dope acid brushes.

Torrington Brush Works pipe dope acid brushes are unique brushes that are made like our acid brushes but with a plain sanded wood handle. These brushes are made with heavy gauge aluminum ferrule which is crimped to secure the black bristles in place. Our black bristle acid brushes contain bright tin plated tubular handles. Ferrule is double crimped and staple set to hold bristle securely in place. The aluminum handle acid brushes carried by Torrington Brush Works are made of black horse hair, double crimped for a double secure hold, mounted on a 6" length tubular seamless aluminum handle.
